Baltimore's Fashion Week, LLC, the city annual premier fashion showcase, is managed by the event team of Butterfly Productions.
Lead by Sharan Nixon, Butterfly Productions has created runway shows, workshops and other events that highlight local artists and provide affordable, accessible outlets for promotion the region's fashion talent.
In celebration of its community, Baltimore's Fashion Week returns a portion of its proceeds to organizations selected for their accomplishments on behalf of Baltimore's residents and communities.
Baltimore's Fashion Week is scheduled for Monday, August 10 - Friday, August 14, 2009.
Butterfly Productions, would like to say, "THANK YOU" to the residents of Baltimore City, members of the fashion community, visitors, guests, models, designers, hair stylists, make-up artists, back stage production associates, press, media, and radio personalities for your support in our first production of Baltimore's Fashion Week.
An extra special thanks goes out to the City of Baltimore, Mayor's office for their guidance and support in the execution of our 2008 production of Baltimore's Fashion Week. Without you and the City residents this event would not have been so successful.
If you did not get a chance to attend the runway events, take a look at the designer's masterpieces for our 2008 production photos!
Baltimore's Fashion Week 2009 production is already underway. We plan to bring to Baltimore city a new paved fashionable runway with more fresh, invigoration, and innovative designers. These designers will showcase captivating designs, along with professional models to properly execute the designer's vision.
We are proud to announce that for 2009, a portion of the proceeds will once again be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Maryland and the Sylvan Beach Foundation. We believe that educating Baltimore City residents on breast cancer is a key responsibility and organizations that assist our youth in life rewarding lessons, need to be rewarded for their participation and due diligence in the human services sector. Butterfly Productions, will continue to use Baltimore's Fashion Week as a mechanism in getting the Human Services word out.
Keep visiting the site for more updates as we move forward in creating a production to make all your FASHIONable dreams come true.
